I’m Trina, a lifestyle-magazine copy editor and MLA graduate of Stanford, and I love learning and adventure and living life full-tilt. My interests are pretty eclectic: fine and performing arts, food and travel, health and fitness. Books. Nature shows like Blue Planet. Seinfeld reruns and Cash Cab. Art museums. Antiques Roadshow.
Once upon a time, I was a Peace Corps volunteer in Ukraine, a salsera, a HandsOn Bay Area project leader, and a workout fiend (for a member Fight Night at Undisputed Boxing Gym, my fighter name was “Silent Storm,” hee). I still count the summer I spent studying literature, art, and architecture at the University of Cambridge as one of the most amazing of my life, and I love taking evening classes through local continuing-studies programs.
Next up I’d like to 1) do a motocross clinic (just to try it); 2) plan and take a trip to Amsterdam and Bruges; 3) work my way through a cooking-techniques book like Mark Bittman’s How to Cook Everything / The Basics (because, yeah, I totally need it).
You can find more about me on Twitter and Pinterest, if you like. Thanks for stopping by.
